- Your Excellency Dr. Oum Romny, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Education, Youth and
Sports, and High Representative of His Excellency Academician, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of
Education, Youth and Sports - Excellencies, Distinguished Guests, Ladies and Gentlemen
As we close the International Symposium of the Cambodian Chemical Society (CCSIS 2025) today, I am
filled with deep gratitude and a sense of pride in what we have accomplished together. These past
four days have been truly inspiring, marked by exceptional scientific presentations, vibrant
discussions, and the forging of lasting partnerships. What began as an ambitious vision has evolved
into a celebration of scientific excellence and international collaboration that will resonate far
beyond these halls.
This symposium has been a remarkable journey of knowledge exchange and intellectual discovery. We
have heard compelling oral presentations from researchers in Japan and Cambodia, explored
innovative poster presentations by our talented university students, and engaged in countless
meaningful discussions that have enriched our understanding and sparked new ideas. The enthusiasm,
expertise, and collaborative spirit demonstrated by all participants have exceeded our expectations
and reaffirmed the value of bringing together diverse scientific communities.
The partnerships forged here between Cambodian and Japanese researchers, and the networks
established among young scholars, represent the true legacy of CCSIS 2025. These connections will
continue to bear fruit long after we leave this venue, contributing to scientific advancement in
both our nations and throughout the region.
I would like to take the closing opportunity to reiterate once again my deepest appreciation to
MEME Corporation of Japan and particularly to Professor Tamotsu Takahashi for their exceptional
partnership and unwavering support. This collaboration has set a new standard for international
scientific cooperation and has opened doors for future endeavors together.

My heartfelt thanks go to all participants who traveled from near and far to share their research
and insights. To the organizing committee members, students, and volunteers who worked diligently
to ensure every aspect of this symposium ran smoothly. Your dedication has been instrumental to the
success of our first symposium in Cambodia.
To our distinguished guests, researchers, and students, I hope you will carry forward the
knowledge, inspiration, and friendships gained here. May the ideas exchanged during CCSIS 2025 lead
to groundbreaking discoveries and meaningful collaborations that will benefit our scientific
communities and societies.
As you return to your institutions and laboratories, I encourage you to maintain the connections
you have built and to continue the spirit of cooperation that has defined this symposium. The
Cambodian Chemical Society looks forward to our continued partnership and to welcoming you again to
Cambodia in the future.
Thank you for your contribution in making CCSIS 2025 a resounding success. Safe travels to all, and
I hope you will carry fond memories along with the knowledge and friendships gained here in the
Kingdom of Cambodia.
Thank you, everyone!
